for a 747-400, around mach .85 coast to coast is usually 4-6 hours
400-650 mph
550-600 miles/hr air speed, but ground speed can vary substantially up or down, depending on jets streams and their speeds.
Mach 0.70-0.85.
500-600 miles per hour
300 – 350 kts or about 540 mph….NYC to SFO 5hrs.
Dunno – but a lot faster than my car!
