I am cruising this winter, and 2 ships are sailing the exact same itinerary. Which ship should I take?

It is a caribbean cruise and the ships in question are the Carnival Glory and the Carnival Valor. Does the Glory have the seaside movie screen? Which ship is better? Thanks!

They are sister ships so they will be the same layout. The only real difference is the decor. You can take a tour of them on the Carnival website. The Valor is slightly newer though so I’d pick that. The Glory being slightly older doesn’t have the seaside theater yet but it says it’s coming soon so by this winter it might. The Valor does and so do 7 other ships (Freedom, Splendor, Liberty, Victory, Triumph, Destiny and Conquest)

But if the itinerary is the same, go with whichever one has the best price.

Check out Cruise Critic and read the reviews for each ship. It’s free and easy to do and there you will get a good idea of which ship works best for you.

Just remember to read the reviews with a grain of salt. Not everyone will always be satisfied with their cruise.

I personally wouldnt know because I dont cruise with carnival.
I have heard that it is dirty and the service is bad.
I only go on royal caribbean cruises.
and my aunts and uncles have cruise with both royal caribbean and carnival and they prefer royal caribbean 10000 times better.
and i dont know which ships those are so I couldnt decide. I am pretty sure they have a movie screen though because i have seen them from my ships.
    good luck
    and have funnn !

If you book now, you may find that a lot of the rooms are already taken. And, there may be more desirable rooms available on one versus the other. For example, you might find an ocean view room on one that has obstructed view (to where you have a view of the side of a life boat). But, for like $30 more on the other ship, you don’t have obstructed view. Something like that.

Other than that, there’s not going to be much difference between the two, since they’re sister ships. You can look them both up on Carnival’s web site to see if there is any tangible difference between the two. If not, I would just go with the least expensive cruise (prices vary at different times of year, even from one week to the next, especially if there’s a holiday some time during the cruise).

They are sister ships, therefore the ships are very similar.
They have a seaside theatre, as it shows on the carnival website. I have been on the conquest 4 times, which is also a sister ship to these, and it is a great ship. Pizza, a sushi bar, CHOCOLATE BUFFET (on the last day at sea) lots of fun.
You should have fun on either ship

I’d like to know when the last time Twilight went on a Carnival cruise.

I’ve heard all good things and very few single bad things about Carnival cruise lines. The bad comments oon cruisecritic.com have come from the same cranky people who slam every experience.

In the past two years, the Carnival ships Inspiration and Destiny have been taken out of service and remodeled and returned to service. The positive reviews are endless.

My best advice for helping you choose is to go to carnival.com and read about the ship, then go to cruisecritic.com and read the ship reviews then spend a lot of time reading member reviews.

You’ll have fun on either one.
