I have been to Hisaronu a few times and love it, but I think I should broaden my horizons slightly – but still in Turkey!
Can anywhere suggest somewhere that is still a fairly small resort (not too yobbish or commercialised) yet fun, with good nightlife and safe for a couple of 20 something girls to go out on their own!
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

I think bodrum would be a great choice.
Bodrum is a paradise for water sports with diving, wind-surfing, water-skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, paragliding, beach sports, swimming and thrilling slides in aqua parks. The surrounding hills are excellent for walks, strenuous for exercise or slower for pleasure. Horse-riding and tennis are also available. Bodrum has a typical Mediterranean climate with its low humidity, although it is really hot in the summers. In winters it is mild and rainy, and in summers it is pretty hot and dry. Bodrum is perfect for summer travellers
I think Bodrum,Kas,Kalkan,Alacati are great choices
NOWHERE. There are uncivilized. They live like the monkeys. Go to another place. When I went there, I went back to my country. Go to Italy, or Greece. Trust me.
Are you sure you want to go to Turkey at this time of year? The south of Turkey, including cities such as Antalya, Bodrum, and Fethiye won’t be great for swimming at this time of year. It’s pretty cold there and also rainy. You can even check weather.com if you don’t believe me:
I think that if you really wanted to go, you might want to see the North or maybe the center of Turkey where there’s more to do when the weather gets chilly outside. Cities such as Istanbul or maybe Izmir perhaps? I would advise you that if you are more of the summer gal who loves swimming, etc, then I’d just wait until the late spring/summer to go…if you’re more of a winter bunny, then by all means go at this time of year. Heck, maybe you can go to some ski slopes in Saklikent? It all depends on what you want other than night clubs.
Kus Adasi is nice, especially the old part. There are a few beaches, some more crowded than others and the cruise ships come in from America and other places, but you can still find quiet places. there is a vibrant nightlife in the old part with loads of open air pubs. I had a brilliant time when i was there
You can go to icmeler, not far from the Marmaris busier resort. But icmeler itself has enough night out entertainment. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a walker then how about a treck from Icmeler to Marmaris, you can walk from here all along the coast and on to the bazzar at Marmaris, i would say its about 6 or 7 miles and should take you about 2 hours to walk it.
Other nice resorts : didim beach, kusadasi, Bodrum, gumbet
