Well taking a quick look at GRN it looks like you pay X dollars either yearly or a one time and you get points or days to use where ever that GRN has connection ( looks like world wide) most people use this type of option as they can vacation in a different place every year etc, HOWEVER where you get to stay and when is NEVER a guarentee.

Ownership is advantageous as you “buy” a week or 2 and if they are “fixed” you get those same weeks every year and generally the same unit (this will depend on where you purchase) but the downside is you stay at the same place year in and year out .

Id say head on over to redweek.com and poke around there or even TUG.com (sites dedicated to timeshare information, not bound to any timeshare resort or company)

The biggest difference is having more options and saving more money.

Timeshares are a wonderful place to stay but the financial plan is not the best. Other than the large, often huge upfront cost, as well as the additional fees, your travel destination is generally the same and your travel is limited to the week(s) you purchased.

Global Resorts Network has an affordable one time membership purchase fee and you have an online catalogue with over 5,000 high end resorts to choose from.

Basically you can rent any given week, to any given resort within the Global Resorts registry, and pay less for that week than what a Timeshare owner pays in annual maintenance fees.

You can learn more about the comparison differences by going to.

You can learn more as well about the actual membership and registry of available resorts by registering for a no cost/obligation online demonstration by going to.

    Hi ES,

Timeshares have been an unbelievable way to travel over the past 25 years but Timeshares are becoming a ‘thing of the past’. Timeshare companies and resorts have realized that Travelers need the following:

    More flexibility
    More Choices
    Less upfront cost

So let me continue answering this question very factually:

Let me compare Global Resorts Network and Timeshares very objectively:

    Traditional Timeshare

    Price $3,500us +
    Term 100 years
    Home Resorts 1 traditionally
Maintenance Fees Yes – extra fees
Guest Weeks for friends No – guest weeks
    Restrictions on Travel Yes
$298 Hot Weeks Extra through RCI
    Online Booking Very complicated
Discounts on Air & Cruise Extra through RCI
Closing fees Yes – closing fees
    Exchange fees Yes – exchange

    Global Resorts Network

    Price $2,995us
    Term 100 years
    Home Resorts 5,000+
    Maintenance Fees No extra fees
Guest Weeks for friends Unlimited *
Restrictions on Travel No -Travel Anytime & Anywhere
$298 Hot Weeks Unlimited per year
    Online Booking Yes – included
Discounts on Air & Cruise Yes – included
    Closing fees No extra fees
    Exchange fees No extra fees

Now…what if you could stay in the same 4 and 5 star resort, in the same 1,2 or a 3-bedroom condominium without the huge upfront cost or maintenance fees?

It is possible through a Global Resorts Network, a premium Vacation Club offering their members to join for one low upfront cost of $2,995!

Global Resorts Network offers over 6,000 home-based resorts to choose from with no exchange fees ever. There are no huge upfront costs, no point system to figure out and no maintenance fees ever!

    You really can’t beat that…
