my single stage air compressor trips on thermal overload shortly after start up. it starts ok but before it goes to higher speed it trips. i jumpered the trip, and the motor start switch that moves between the start and run capacitors jumps from onr to the other before it runs normal. would the run capacitor be bad?

I have 1 kitten who is 3 months old and one adult cat who is 5 years old. Since both cats need different kinds of food (kitten food which has nutrients found in a mother’s milk, and adult formula that has nutrients designed for older cats), I have two separate food bowls. One for the kitten and one for the older cat. The older cat steals food from the kittens bowl which is making her overweight, and the younger one is stealing food from the older cat’s food bowl. Our vacation (2 adults) will begin on July 13 and will last about 10 days. If it was fully rented (and assuming we would actually get the $4500), that would be $54k. Let’s say $70k/year income including some off-season rentals.

It’s on the market for $1,175,000. If we were to get a 6% loan that would be $70,500/year for interest alone. I have no idea how much insurance would be, but in a hurricane-prone area like OBX, I’d expect it’s a lot. I’m guessing PITI would be $90k. My numbers may be a bit off, but that’s still in the area of $20k/year in the red. If I’m way off, please tell me, ’cause I don’t get how it would work out. Do you need sub-prime?

My son just turned 9 months and he has been walking along furniture for about a month and walking with us holding his hands for even longer. He can pull up on anything and tries to walk from the couch to coffee table etc, but obviously is too unsteady yet. How much longer is normal until he can walk by himself? Anytime we are on the road for longer than short trips around town our baby boy seems to spit up much more each time we feed him and even in between feedings. a plane cruising at 264m/s accelerates at 19m/s2 for 4.5s. what is the final velocity? how far will it have traveled in that time?

I already take it easy during acceleration and deceleration. I travel on roads that are 25-40 mph, and I strictly stick to the speed limit since it’s mostly residential. My car is an automatic (and 2005). Unfortunately, alternative methods such as bike are not possible because frequently, I am called away to customers that are 30-40 or more miles away and I need to be ready, wherever, whenever. I figured it was the right thing to do to look into making sure I was doing everything to make all of my driving efficient. I probably carry approx. 100 pounds of tools (safety kit and for my job), so that could be why I never see the factory mileage ratings.

I am an airline crew member and it is very difficult to eat healthy while on trips considering all that is available at the airports are McDonald’s, Burger King’s, etc and there are very limited cooking facilities for us. my family and I are staying at a vacation home in orlando. we reserved a house that sleeps 14, but 19 of us are going will the owner come to see if it is 14 of us staying there.

My cat needs special [expensive] canned cat food, like $1.50 per can. She’s very picky and will only eat it if it’s been sitting out for a while. It is a meat-based food.

If I feed her the newly opened wet food around 7am, she won’t touch it until about 3pm. A human obviously wouldn’t want to eat plain meat that’s been left out that long because it would be spoiled.

My question is, is this harmful? Would she still eat it if it was ‘bad’/spoiled or would she know the difference? How long can wet cat food be left out at room temperature without being spoiled? Thanks!

She is almost 20 years old and has irritable bowel syndrome [just like people I guess, it almost killed her a few years ago]. So she is on a restricted diet of only rabbit and duck food. She does get some dry food, something special but I forget the name.
The only rabbit and duck food I have found is through a vet’s office which is why it is so expensive I guess.

She was so sick a few years back and had surgery for it. She pulled through and has been doing well ever since with this food. There was some interaction with chicken/beef/fish and her digestive system which is why we can’t feed her the normal store food if anyone is curious.

I have a great friend with whom I like to go on driving trips for short vacations. I am planning a 4 night cruise wedding to Key West and Cozumel, getting married on shore of Cozumel in March2010 through carnival. I am in the early planning process and could use any tips or advice for somebody who has had or attended a cruise wedding. Hi, i’m 13 year old and my mom wants me to war diapers at school and on long car trips (even just a 2hour trip) and that kind of sucks. Some see the diaper at school and once on a car trip my mom changed me in the bathroom and I was so embarassed. I love the travel industry. In addition, I paid a per hour charge plus 20% extra of the total coordination fee to the wedding coordinator to have someone come to the hotel to do my hair and makeup. For some extra expenses (additional cake and champagne, florals, etc), I also paid an additional 20% coordination fee of the totals as well. Who should we tip and how much? Should I still tip the minister and wedding coordinator even though I paid some additional coordination fees for some services and not others?

I live near a very windy and gusty harbour, and I want to build my own commuter boat to go to work with. The winds here are often blowing at about 30-50mph. I imagine that it will be a good idea to have a very aerodynamic, low upper body for my boat to ensure I don’t get blown backwards while going forward at full speed. But I wonder, too if the waves that are being blown over the surface and are coming straight at me when going against the wind represent an extra resistance for which I would have to make some clever allowances. I have used Timeshares Only and Copeland Marketing to sell my timeshare and both charged me alot of money to put it on the market and never sold it for us.With Timeshares only I went to look up my timeshare to see how it was being advertised after a year of having it for sell and couldn’t even find it on their web site.Called customer service to find out where it was being advertised and they didn’t even know.Then Copeland Marketing in Florida said they would sell it for us quick,that it would be a piece of cake and that was 8 months ago.Timeshares only charged us $800.00 and Copeland Marketing charged us $600.00 to sell our timeshare for us.Neither of which ever did anything for us after we paid them the deposits.Oh and eventhough they said our deposits were refundable upon selling our timeshare it turns out their not.We really need to selll our timeshare is there any company that does this that is legitimate?

I went to a seminar a few months back for this company that offered free airline tickets for showing up. This company offers discounts on products,etc. for of course a membership fee. I have two kittens, brothers , 17 weeks old now. They were neutered five days ago. I chnaged their brand of cat food several weeks ago. Yesterday, one kitten starts to vomit after he eats the new dry cat food and it has continue today. What is the best wet and dry food to give him ? Could he have developed an allergy to the new food and ittook two weeks for it to show symptoms ? Also, when they were neutered, they were given their first rabies shot and their last distemper shot for the year. Could that be why he is sick ? They were neutered on 7/18/2007. How long did it take your baby to go from standing and using furniture to cruise around to actually taking steps? Was it just a few days or did it take a few weeks?

I stayed in Las Vegas few times in the hotel provided by Tahiti Village. 3 nights every time. I had to attend 2 hours presentation during each visit. No need to buy anything during presentation.

Any such timeshares in Florida? I need few nights of free hotel in Tampa or Orlando. But any other city is ok too.

I know several people who have purchased vacation homes. They generally use it about two weeks a year and on some weekends. Most of these people are not rich - they are in the medium income bracket, so the purchase of the vacation home has set them back a bit. Since they use this house sparsely, I was wondering what is the point of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a vacation home and having a second mortgage if they will only use it for about 2 weeks a year? Instead, they could simply stay at a nice hotel without any of the hassles having a house entails. In a case like this, why would anyone want to purchase a vacation home versus staying at a hotel?

We are first-time vacation home renters. We are ignorant of the etiquette for this arrangement. Do you leave a gratuity for the owner at the home, mail them one, or is it unnecessary altogether? Should you tip the cleaners who will come after you leave?

My last two rabbits died when I got my food from petsmart. The food was tested positive for mycotoxin poisoning which is a type of mold and both of my bunnies bled to deah. I just started cooking in a rather enclosed space with no overhead fan (we just have a loose skillet, no oven). The space smells a lot like what was cooked for hours. Do all those food particles in the air eventually settle down on my stuff. I don’t really want everything I own to smell like old food eventually. Any advice would be helpful.

The Oceana (built in 2000) does not have the pod propulsion system which is fitted to many of the most modern cruise ships. Pod propulsion is virtually vibration free, whereas a conventional prop shaft always seems to transmit vibration to some degree.
